Abstract

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) aims to restructure and radically redesign business processes to achieve significant improvements in cost reduction, efficiency, and productivity. In recent years, companies have increasingly adopted BPR to respond to global competition, technological advancements, and shifting customer expectations. This paper examines the effectiveness of BPR in achieving cost reduction and operational efficiency through a detailed analysis of recent case studies and empirical research. By exploring the impact of BPR on organizational structures, resource utilization, and process workflows, this study highlights key success factors and barriers to BPR implementation. Findings reveal that BPR can yield significant cost savings and efficiency gains, though the success rate heavily depends on organizational readiness, employee engagement, and sustained leadership commitment.
